Supported Platforms
BenchHype requires iPhone or iPad running iOS 26 or later. The app is a universal binary optimized for both devices.
Supported Audio Formats

Import audio files from the Files app, or use drag and drop on iPad.
Spotify Requirements
Spotify features in BenchHype require a Spotify Premium account and an active internet connection. Local audio playback works entirely offline and does not require Spotify.
Common Questions
The app won't play audio
- Make sure your device is not in Silent Mode.
- Check that the volume is turned up and not muted in the mixer.
- Verify the audio file is in a supported format.
- Try restarting the app.
Spotify isn't connecting
- Ensure you have a Spotify Premium account.
- Check your internet connection.
- Make sure the Spotify app is installed and you are logged in.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Spotify account in BenchHype.
How do I back up my setup?
Use the backup feature in BenchHype to export your boards, sounds, scripts, rosters, and settings. Backups can be stored locally or in iCloud. Pro users also get automatic backups.
